Our Dedicated Mentorship
Lauren is the Founder and Executive Director of Family First Community Enterprises and its educational and youth development branches. She leads with a blend of faith, structure, and professional excellence, drawing from her background in Business Management, healthcare, and lifeâsafety certifications to ensure every program operates with clarity, integrity, and high standards of care.

As a regional NFL FLAG Director and athletic mentor, Lauren has expanded sports access for rural families, building programs that strengthen confidence, teamwork, and character. Her work reflects a consistent commitment to creating intentional spaces where children can grow academically, socially, and spiritually.

Family First was born from Laurenâs conviction that children thrive when they are given diverse experiences, consistent advocacy, and environments that honor both family life and faith. As a mother, she recognized the gap in accessible, valuesâaligned programming and saw the potential in children who simply needed opportunities to shine.

Under her leadership, Family First has become a stabilizing force in the community â a place where families feel supported, children are nurtured, and faith-driven action shapes the next generation. Laurenâs vision continues to guide the organization as it builds belonging, inspires growth, and strengthens the community one family at a time.

Adrian Cotton is a seasoned media personality and mentor dedicated to amplifying the unique perspectives of the next generation. With a rich history in broadcasting and creative direction, Adrian brings a vibrant energy to the Enrichment Center, serving as a catalyst for young creators.
He spearheaded the Creative Confidence Lab, an initiative where students master the art of self-expression through digital media and literary arts. He operates on a core philosophy: when a child finds their voice, they gain the autonomy to navigate their future with certainty.
Through his weekly labs, Adrian guides participants as they produce audio content, craft narratives, and visualize their ideas. His ultimate goal is for each student to realize their hidden talents, transforming "I can't" into a confident "I did."

Dori brings a strong foundation in early childhood education and schoolâage development, supported by nationally recognized credentials and handsâon experience across multiple age groups.

She holds both her ADA and CDA, along with two 45âhour certifications in Child Growth & Development and School Age Child Care, demonstrating her commitment to highâquality, developmentally appropriate practice.

Over the years, Dori has worked with children in a variety of settings and age ranges, giving her a wellârounded understanding of how students learn, grow, and thrive at every stage.
Her approach blends structure, patience, and genuine care â creating a learning environment where children feel supported, confident, and excited to explore. Doriâs expertise and nurturing presence make her an invaluable part of our program and a trusted partner to the families we serve.
